I don't understand the 144,000???

I don't understand why that number and where does it say in the bible. JW's think that only 144,000 gets to join God in heaven.

  • it's in Revelation and the 144,000 is talking about Jews that will turn to Christ after the rapture... i think. All the end time things are confusing, but it is in revelation

  • i'm not a baptized JW yet, i'm still studying, but the 144,000 are people are the anointed people that Jehovah wants in heaven to rule with Jesus over the earth after the resurrection. its mentioned a couple times in rev. Revelation 14:3, Rev 14:1

  • Ahhh Revelation, Revelation. The easiest chapter in the bible....yeah right! lol My head spins sometimes reading that one.
    Rev 14:1, 3 and Rev 7:4 mentioning the 144,000 or 12X12
    Rev 20:4 Rule as kings with Christ....vs 5 the first resurrection
