  • about 4 months - it took a year ttc #1 so we knew it would take a while ttc #2.

#2 was born when our oldest was 2years and 4months old.

  • Well I had 3 kids in 4 years.

My oldest came in Dec 03. I got pg with #2 when she was 22 months old, so she was 2 1/2 when he was born.

#2 was 13 months old when I got pg with #3, so he was 22 months old when she was born. My oldest was just under 4 1/2.

#3 is 19 months old now and no plans for #4.

  • We waited 18 mos. to try for baby #2 and it took 6 mos. for me to get pregnant so they are 2 yrs. & 9 mos. apart. Then baby #3 was conceived when #2 was only 9 mos. old... what a surprise that was! I much preferred the distance between my first two pregnancies than the last two. You need to give your body time to completely heal. Also do you want to have 2 in diapers at the same time? Our oldest was completely potty trained before baby #2 was born which made it really nice. I would have at least liked our 2nd daughter to have been a yr. old before I got pregnant again. Another factor is if you're breastfeeding or not. If you are and you get pregnant again your milk could actually dry up. Good luck with whenever you decide to have baby #2 and congrats on your 1st! :)
