how do u clean a sticky keyboard

my keyboard needs to be cleand is there a way?

  • spray some windex or mild cleaner on a rag and wipe it down.

  • I use a magic eraser. Put 3 drops of water on the corner then wring it out and wipe.

  • I use my steamer to steam the keyboard (no moisture gets on the keyboard or into it) and then just wipe it clean.

  • there is one way....turn off the comp...take a butterknife and insert it under the key and gently pry upward.....they key should pop off...i would reccomend only doing this one row at a time so you remember what sequence the keys go back on....thats the easiest and most thorough way to clean it (besides just buying a new one...lol)

  • wow I just did this to mine tonight. but mine was becuase my son spilt water on it. There should be screws on the back that you have to unscrew and then pop keyboard open and GENTLY clean everything in there. The plastic thingys and stuff and if worried about moisture blow dryers work WONDERFUL!!!!
