  • Are you opposed to going to the gym? The one I go to has an all ladies section so you don't have to feel as self-concious while working out. It'd save you a ton of money too. Mine also offered three free sessions with a personal trainer to get you off to a good start as well. That might be helpful. Good luck!

  • Hello. I found a treadmill at WalMart with a capacity of 400 pounds. It is made by Gold's Gym. I don't think they carry it in every store, but you can also look online and I believe they have free shipping to your store. That's a good place to start. Another place you might want to check is a place that sells fitness equipment. They may be over your budget though (they certainly were over mine).
If you cannot find a treadmill, you could buy walking tapes (for instance, Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds) and just walk right in your living room. You could also find other exercise ideas online.
A GREAT place for information is You don't have to pay to just have a membership to the community and the women there will tell you tons of different exercises, plus you can get support from people who are (or were) where you are now. Good luck!
