How do I make Brisket????

ok so i have a small brisket its already seasoned,.. i was wondering if i can cook it in the oven? should i do low temp for some hours or what?? how long? how many hours per pound? what temp?

  • I found a great recipe at Food Network .com . It was the best think I have ever eaten . I kindof improvised alittle . I put a can of beef broth in the bottom of the pan and cooked it on 350 for like 3 hours . I also kept taking the juice from the bottom and puring on top every so often .

  • or do you have Corned Beef Brisket???? Is it red? or "brown" When you said seasoned it made me think.

  • I like to sear it first then transfer it to the oven with broth. Cover it and bake at about 325. The crust is nicer.

    Be sure to let it rest about 10 minutes before slicing. That's the trick.

  • thanks everyone !! it came out great !!! i put it in the oven at 300 n cooked it for 4 hours and it was great!!! ssooo tender !!
