  • I buy him a tiny (1 or 2 dollars) toys about once as month. Usually he only gets bigger toys for his birthday and for Christmas.

  • lately, i'll buy my ds one toy every week, but only because he's outgrown his toys, he wasnt even playing with them, like rattles and infant fisher price toys with lights. so i'm trying to build up his toys a little at a time, he needs big boy toys now.

  • I buy them a little toy every now and then, like once a month, and they only get big presents on their birthday, christmas and easter.

  • big presents on special occasions.

but i will buy little toys every once in a while.. could be two a week or two a month, depends on the price i guess.

we are more of a minimalistic family so we don't buy many toys, plus he gets enough from family that after xmas and birthdays i have to go through his toys and i donate the ones he has outgrown.

  • Not very often. Usually just for birthdays, Christmas and Easter. Occasionally if we are at Target they can pick something out from the $1 section (usually they get coloring books or markers or something like that). They have enough stuff. They don't need any more.

  • Mostly just for birthdays, Christmas, Easter etc. But, my husband travels a lot and will often bring them back each a dinky car. They have so many toys already.

  • Basically birthdays and holidays. I do pick up small items throughout the year to keep them busy- mainly things that get used up, like arts and crafts supplies and stuff for dd's Easy Bake. We really seldom give toys unless it's a holiday.
