  • when my son was that age, he was still nursing for the most part. but, he would snack on cut-up fruit, gerber puffs, etc. he didn't particularly care for the canned foods (neither did i) so i made my own "baby food" for when he couldn't eat what we were eating. i would make things like chicken & brown rice with veggies, orzo with sauce and/or veggies, etc. i would make a full batch, then freeze it in individual containers so i could defrost overnight one serving at a time. however, he did pretty well eating quite a few table foods at that age.

  • mine eats anything we eat. we never eat processed food, it's always healthy stuff.

yogurt, egg yolks, steamed veggies, chicken, pork, beef, fruits, whole wheat grains.... really anything

no nuts, raw hard veggies, hard fruits... anything that she can't chew. she only has 2 teeth.

she feeds herself with her fingers, or we will mash up the food and feed her by spoon.

  • my son is 9 months and eats what the pp said as well. pretty much anything we eat for a meal or snack(minus the dangerous or allergy inducing foods, and oyou can google that list) I just smash, chop or food process untill its consistency he can handle and then my son chows. now the only baby food he will eat is the fruits, and some of the meqls if they are chunky enough.
