how much is your tax return please include your dependants and annual income

i just would like to see what the averages are! last yr i only made about 21,000 with 1 dependant and got about 4,000 back...not too shabby

  • 5 dependents we get at least $10,000.00 back I am a SAHM my hubby brings home $30,000 a year.

  • Our taxable income in 2008 was about $110,000; we did not get a refund (the government does not get to use my money unless they start paying me interest) - we paid about $120 in additional taxes.

  • We are getting a lot back. Enough to pay down some credit cards. My husband only paid $9.00 in Federal Taxes, but three kids, EIC, and deployment pay contributed to the refund.

  • Our income was cut to $31,000 last year. With 3 dependents, our refund, thanks to Making Work Pay credit, Child Tax Credit and EIC, we'll get $8400 back.
