  • I stock up on salt. Seriously. I have about 25 lbs of unrefined sea salt in my pantry. I make bath salts and scrubs out of it. We go through a pound or so a week.

  • SALT? LOLOL! I am cutting way back on salt because I have high blood pressure and salt is really not needed in most recipes. It is not a healthy ingredient. So, WHY ask this? I am really amused!!! Why stock up? Is sopmeone hoarding all the salt in the world? Very funny......

  • Salt hasn't been a trading currency for hundreds of years. Makes more sense to stock gold.

  • I have a box of table salt that has been in my cabinet since 1995. I also have a box of Kosher salt that I have had since 2007. So, no I do not.

  • I bought a 1 lb box of table salt about 5 years ago, still have half of it left. Oh, we DO have some rock salt to melt the ice on the sidewalk. Lot's of that left too...why? Is there going to be a salt shortage?
