why me?

its starting to go good, we believe in God but we aren't very intense with our religion. Why me? Why not someone more worth? Is wrong, a sin against God to ask why?

  • absolutely not, it is only human nature to err.....you are a mortal human, not of any divinity.....to ask is to be human

  • It is not wrong to ask just know the answer you are looking for may not be the answer you want to hear but it is the best response for He knows your future and has it all planned out

  • I'm not christian but attended a catholic grade school and joined a non denom christian church after high school. I can tell you what I learned about the Christian God is that he his followers all loving father. What father would get angry at a child who wants to ask why something bad happened to them?

For instance, if a child comes in late for curfew, as shaneagle pointed out "the answer may not be what you are looking for" in this instance the child is grounded because they knew the curfew but they blew it anyway. So the father reiterates the reason why the child is grounded. "it's for your own good" the father says. Yet the next time the child does the same thing again, only this time, he is arrested for speeding and gets a ticket not only for speeding but for being out past curfew.

In life i think God(or any deity) needs us to learn a lesson from our mistakes, so sometimes things seem so challenging and we question them

  • *i just want to edit, what i said it was "the answer may not be what you want to hear" not looking for...sorry about that.

God does not give you what you cannot handle. So you may ask why, but just know whatever it is you will come out of it. Read psalm 91....even though i'm not a christian that is a beautiful psalm..Youtube search it...maybe that can help you too.

    Blessings~
