What is your 4 month old doing?

I just wanted 2 c where my baby is at in development. She can sit by herself unattend (until she gets excited then over she goes!) She can rollover, hold her bottle, reach 4 toys, I feed her babyfood (not everyday, only when she's had a lot of formula) she scoots n the floor......

  • camden is right there with yours. He loves to roll over and scoot around. there's no stopping him. He is just getting into solids. He reaches and plays with his toys. He can sit up if he's in just the right spot, but not really unassisted quite yet. he loves to bounce, so his new fav toy is the jumperoo.
I'd say your little one is right on track.

  • I don't have a 4 month old but had one and she seems to be right on track. Every baby goes through development differently so theres not saying how far your baby really is. they will do everything when they are ready to. some develope faster and some slower. It all depends. Don't rush anything.

  • Well I would say that your 4 year old is very advanced! Mine can sit with support, or with me sitting behind her she will sit by herself.. But not ALL by herself!! She can reach for toys, coo's, laughs hysterically, chews on her toes, trying to scoot, eats jar foods, and more.. but I think my daughter is right on track too! I am very happy to have a healthy happy baby and that's all that matters to me!!

  • I have had 3 4 month olds.... yours seems just fine... Though i think you used this question as an excuse to brag.... you know damn well that most of that is a bit ahead of the curve. I will tell you though, I had very early crawlers, walkers, and talkers. 2 of my 3 were walking around 8 -9 months. My doctors couldn't believe it. My oldest's speech was amazing by 18 months. Those doctors were impressed. It means NOTHING in the grand scheme of things. Some kids are later, some are super early, some are average. It means NOTHING. My friend has a child who is gifted. Her gifted child didn't crawl until he was 11 months. He didn't walk until 18 months.
