Who all is sick of hearing about "Help for Haiti"

i dont think there is a word that can describe how mad i am about the whole haiti situation.

haiti does not need as much money as we do!! hurricane Katrina was a natural disaster that happened in the usa and did you see "help for the Katrina victims" on 17 different channels?(i counted last night where i am) NO!!!

the point is what business did obama have for spending that much money on a country that was a piece of CRAP to begin with, when we need it to come out of our recession!?!?!? we have americans with no shelter, no food, no job, no medical help why do we have to worry about haiti when we have so much wrong over here?

natural disasters happen, they just happen.. no one can stop it no one can tell when they are coming.. and it isnt our place to fix what we didint break!

  • In 6 months the media will have something else to show non stop. The poorest person in the US has it much better then the folks in Haiti. Can you imagine living on $400 a year? We should all stop and count our blessings instead of turning our backs on our fellow man.

  • I am with you on this. I feel for the people in Haiti. But what about US. We have people here that need that sort of help. And the kids in Haiti need help, I understand that. But there are kids here in the USA that need adopting too. Why are these people going out of the country to adopt kids?

  • Katrina had plenty of help do you KNOW how much Katrina victims got even tho they were told to LEAVE, instead they sat there WATCHING the hurricane come. There is even at least 500 million that went to people of this country that did NOT deserve the money or help from Katrina. You want to help the people of this country well FYI they HAVE help it is food stamps WIC section 8 shelters everything. If they don't want to use it you cant force them. The people of this country are greedy and only want MORE money MORE or the expensive stuff. Haiti is a small country that had a natural disaster that they DID NOT watch come. IF you are sick of hearing about it then do the adult thing. Change the channel, Ignore the posts about it. Don't a be a little child and piss and moan that someone else is getting help. Even the poor people of this country are better off that MANY in 3rd world countries. Try not being so selfish!

  • Why are these people going out of the country to adopt kids? Because the orphans in America have it way better than any orphan in Haiti right now. Get off your high horse.

If you have an issue with it then YOU adopt the kids here. FYI Haiti isnt the only country. Why are you throwing a fit over Haiti kid sbeng adopted here? You do know that ALOT of kids are adopted from African and China, right?
    Why not complain about that.
