How do I get blue ink off of a leather chair?

My son took a blue ink pen to my mom's recently purchased leather chair. Help!

  • A product called Greased Lightning is the best I've ever seen at Ink. You can also try white vinegar and keep soaking and blotting it up.

  • You can try lest oil, that gets lipstick out of shirts and tar out of jeans.

  • Goo Gone or OOPS (I think that's what it's called) both work alright on ink stains.

  • Leather is a very tricky thing to treat...try out cleaning methods on a spot under a cushion or where no one will see it if there is a mark left by the cleaner. We have Leather too, I use magic erasers from Mr. Clean..but be gentle. Don't use too much water with the eraser and wipe up right after you use it. good luck
