Do I need a buyer's agent in order to put in an offer on a house I saw on realtor.com?

  • nope you can go directly to the agency if you choose, or you can go to another agency and tell them you want a tour and they can take you to look for it and give you some pointers on making an offer. if you choose to use the agency that has listed the house you should know that they represent the owner first, you second. you can do a lot better on commission this way i might add. bc you can do like 4% or 6% instead of 8% that would be split between two realtors.
