  • A cold can last 10-14 days to really run its course- some are more mild than others.

My 5yo usually has 5 days or so of a cold, but my 2yo recently got over a cold that he had two full weeks. There is no reason to make an appt unless it has been more than 2 weeks, and there is a lingering cough, etc but they can hold onto that cough for quite some is possible to have a sinus infection, but usually in a toddler, it just needs to run its full course.

Cool mist humidifier, saline in the nose, you can give a tsp of honey for a cough, LOTS of water to drink, lots of Vitamin C rich fruits and sleep!
