  • I wouldn't send any of my children to a boarding school at any age. They are my children and I am going to raise them not someone else. If they were meant to be with someone else they would not be my children.

  • No. What would they learn that's so different to what they would learn by attending a school near home? I think parent's who do that do it because it's more convenient for them.

Surely the child would question it when all their friends are still at the local school. They'd feel rejected.

  • The only means of knowing if your child was OK would be through calls or letters from the school. Would you really feel comfortable knowing that your child was that vulnerable? I wouldn't. You can never trust someone with your child, as much as you would trust yourself.
