Cheap b-day party?

I need cheap b-day party ideas. I have about 50 to spend and about 15 ppl coming. It's a first b-day.

  • shop the dollar tree. They have balloons, decorations, plates, cups, etc. Then cook something that will feed a crowd like lasagna, chili, baked ziti, etc. If you make the birthday cake that would save even more money.

  • Thanks! I got my weekends mixed up so I had to facebook. It's all close friends and we hangout almost every weekend any way. I have stuff left over from the baby shower to decorete besides ballaons. What else would I need?

  • i got the decorations for my daughters 1st bday at the dollar tree. They had some cute decorations. For cheap food you could order pizza or go to walmart and get some fried chicken.

  • Food: Make your own cake or cupcakes, pulled pork is VERY cheap... get a pork shoulder and put it in the slow cooker, buns, chips, you could do a couple of salads or ask famliy to bring something.
