My son is 7mths old and today i noticed he has a diaper rash his behind is really red and when i tried to wipe him during a diaper change he cried like ive never heard him cry before.....any relief suggestions?? Thnx

  • Wipe his bottom with a soft warm (wet)wash cloth, not baby wipes. They have so much stuff in them that it can irritate his skin when its so broken out already. Then let him air dry. He'd probably enoy it anyway, just have an extra burp cloth/wash cloth to put over him for pee pee accidents... they do happen...lol Once he's dry put on some desitin, like the PP said or the Beaudreaxs butt paste, that is good stuff too.   • It might be a yeast infection. it sounds like what my friends daughter used to get...I don't remember what she used on it though...sorry i can't be more help...

  • desitin is evil. my son hates it. he's 13w and has been fighting a yeast rash fot 12w. if there are sores, see doc. if not, naked time helps

  • Take olive oil and put it on the area and then a diaper rash cream (doesn't matter which one). Trust me, it a matter of hours it will be gone!
