what happens to the heels of bread loaves in your house?

  • I put them through the food processor for bread crumbs. or cut in cubes to make croutons.

  • I hate to sound wasteful but no one here will eat them either. We always end up throwing them out. Well what actually happenns is they sit in the bread bowl on our table until they turn green and then I finally throw them out LOL

  • They get thrown out...unless it's summer time, then we feed them to the ducks that are always around where we live. :)
