  • yea it's ok, but you might get some wicked heartburn. When your bfing you want to stay away from the super spicy stuff because it passes through your milk

  • I craved spicy foods when I was pregnant with my youngest.

If there were really any harm to them, women in countries where spicy dishes are the norm would be in serious trouble.

  • Its not a problem to eat them but take zantec before so you don't get heartburn.

  • Yeah, nothing wrong with spicy foods. Like the others said, may cause heartburn or something, but I've never had a problem with it! I love me some salsa!!!!! Here is a list of foods you should avoid, and you can also ask your doctor for a list. I got a booklet at my first app with a list of medications I could take while pregnant and foods to avoid and why.

  • I ate spicy foods throughout all of my pregnancies and have 3 healthy normal boys. I was also lucky enough to have kids who were never bothered by what I ate while breastfeeding. I still ate my regular spicy foods and it didn't bother my boys at all. But I never got heartburn while pregnant either, spicy foods or not.
