  • My DD, 2, is taking the gummi flinstone vitamins. She loves them....maybe a little too much cause she asks for more always!

  • I used poly-vi-sol for my daughter (and still do for my 1 yr old), until she was 2, then switched to 'lil critters gummies with vitamin D. The vitamin d is why they get them - - we live where the sun doesn't shine for a several months at a time. During the summer they don't take any.

  • i use a food based multi, food based green, and a probiotic. i use these on occasion only, i do not rely on supplements for the health of my kids, we rely on whole foods.

  • I buy the cheap gummie vitamins from Wal-Mart w/o the iron. I would love it if they came with iron, but they just don't. She gets two in the morning. (Oh and she just turned 3)

  • I don't give my daughter vitamins because she drinks her milk & eats her fruit & vegetables. I asked the Dr. about vitamins & they told me not to give her vitamins unless she was not getting what she needed from food. And they said mainly the milk, fruit & veggies. He also said that too many vitamins could be harmful to children. So if your child is eating a well balanced diet, you may want to ask your Ped.

  • Animal Parade by Nature's Plus- a whole food based vitamin, no artificial stuff in them.

I also give probiotics and VItamin D drops for winter, cold/flu season and I give my 5yo elderberry syrup and a chewable zinc by Animal Parade as well (Kid Zinc).

Animal Parade products are great and I get them online- Vitacost.com, LuckyVitamin.com, they sell them at Amazon too, and many others. They have been around 25 years and don't have the red dyes and other fake ingredients that ones like Flinstones do.
