I'm a little insecure and have a hard time responding so I just want to ask if this sounded ok...?

My friend texted me last night and told me that he just wanted to tell me thanks for always being there for him, he likes our chats and that he will always be there for me. S'dreams cutie.

I wasn't sure if he wanted me to respond because it was a just wanted you to know text. I told him ah, I like them too. You're welcome and thanks for being there for me. Gnight and Sweet dreams.

Did what I put sound ok?

  • I see no problem with it. It is polite to respond to most messages. I know there comes the point where you saying things like ok, or sending smiley faces because you feel like you should respond, but this was for certain appropriate considering the circumstances.
