honey straws

what are they used for? i saw them at my local grocery store and some were flavored.

  • Sometimes I pack them in my bag-- they are a life saver if you are prone to low blood sugar. They are great for a boost when hiking/ camping.

  • or you can just eat em. The pastor at our church is a beekeeper and he gives the kids butt tons of honey straws throughout summer.

  • My sister likes to just suck the honey out straight, or drizzle one or two over a bowl of oatmeal in the morning. She buys hers at some specialty place though, I've never seen them in the grocery stores around here.

  • I agree with just eating them as is. You could also take them along for whenever you need honey, like at work or a restaraunt where you want to add it to your tea but they don't have any....
