is it normal? Multiple cesareans

If you have had a c-section and are pregnant again, is it normal to ache and get sharp pains beneath/on/around scar tissue?

  • Hell yes. I've had three c-sections and my car hurt through pregnancy and during exercise even when I'm not pregnant.

  • My mom had 4 and I'd imagine so because the scar tissue is stretching.

  • I had my 14 month old by csection, I'm 15 weeks pregnant, just starting to show and haven't had any pains around my scar. How far along are you? Can't wait to see if that's a joy I have to look forward to! :)

  • Not a c-section but a uterine surgery.

I had adhesions that slowly tore from about 12-15 weeks. Super ouchy. I'm fine now.

If you are really worried, they can do an ultrasound to check your scar tissue. Call your doc and schedule it asap.
