Haven't had period since October, Sleepy, mild chest pains, dizzy

Those are the "symptoms" I'm having.. I had the same thing in Aug '09 and saw 2 doctors. Both said it's no biggy. But since this is my second time this has happened. I haven't had my period since October. Could this be something serious? I'm a little on the heavy side. (180lbs 5'4" tall) No change in diet (although I should..) and not stressed. I'm 18 and had my daughter 16 months ago.

  • There are lots of things that can cause chest pains and dizziness. Heart being one of them. Gall bladder. I think reflux. Your doctors shouldn't have said no biggie, they should have said what it was. You should go back and get it diagnosed. Good luck!

  • I had the same problem last year. I didnt have my period from Feb-sept. I seen 2 doctors also. my pcp and a my gyn. They both said they couldn't find anything wrong. They did an internal ultrasound. After no period I got frustrated and went to walmart and bought some estrogen pills. I asked my doctor first and she said that wouldnt help but side effects from the estrogen might cause problems. So against doctors advice I took 1 tablet for 3 or 4 days. Started making me sick in my stomach so I stopped. about 3 days later I got my period and have been on schedule ever since. My son was about a year old when my period stopped.
