  • Maybe he's teething. Try a frozen teething ring on his gums, or some tylenol.

  • could be a number of things, teething, gas, colic, tired.

for teething- teething drops, for now if you don't have that get a cold washcloth, freeze it. or if you have a popsicle (the one that's in the wrapper) let him teeth on that.

for gas- gas drops. if you don't have those, push that belly, or lay him down and move his legs in like a bicycle motion, occasionally pushing his knees in his belly, make a game of it.

if he's tired, try to rock him, or let him cry just for a COUPLE of minutes, see if he'll go to sleep on his own. you can stay in the same room just make sure he doesn't see you.

Colic- not much you can do about it, just if you get frustrated remember it's ok if you let him cry by himself for a couple minutes while you calm down and get your bearings in order. GL

  • 4 months old is too old to start colic... any fever? ear infection could cause bad crying. Gas, have you tried bouncing a little jaring like? car ride? warm bath can sometimes help
