what can we give her?

We're trying to find a gift for our preacher's wife. (she also works with my fiance) but she's helped us out so much, and we wanted to show her that we really appreciate her. There was a little glass dove on, my fiance was going to slip it into her coat pocket secretly. but we ordered it a couple weeks ago, and they just told us they dont make them anymore so were not sure what to get her now. Ive searched just about everywhere but cant find the right gift. Any suggestions/ideas?

  • You could write her letter telling her how much you appreciate her.

  • Why not get something from Heiffer International:
I love doing charity donations in someone's honor, and then getting a small tangible gift to go with it (like a pair of nice wool socks for the person, plus the card that says we donated a share of a sheep from Heifer).

  • A thank you note always says a great deal. You could always send a donation to Haiti in her name if you wanted to follow anon's idea.

  • Rather than give her a dust collector, make a donation to a wonderful charity in her name, like this one:

  • Do you have a glass shop near you? Like where they blow glass? Or maybe just search glass doves, that sounds like a wonderful gift!!

  • I would write a heartfelt thank you letter. That would mean more than any other gift you could give and it doesn't cost you anything but a few minutes of time!
