Another Daycare Question, so if daycare providers only want full time kids than why take part time kids and drop them?

Why not when the parent calls asking for part time don't they simply say,"we only do full time". I just don't see how that's fair to take someone's kids on part time then drop them for someone who is enrolling their child for the same amount of time our kids were there for origionally! Just because our kids were part time doesn't mean our schedules and $$ weren't important too! She dropped the two days off of us down to one day, now she wants the one day she did give us to give to the people who took our other days away from us. Where is the accountability? Why didn't she just say no from the get go if that was the issue. She goes on an on about how good our kids are. IDK, frustrated obviously.

  • its all about the money. part time is better than an empty slot... until someone wanting full time comes around.
