Why does the bank put a hold on my money?

Why does the bank put a hold on my money? It's mine, not theirs. What are they doing with it? I think the Big Wigs are in the basement, rolling around on a bed full of my cash, doing who knows what to it before they say "Ok, send it on through.", with tears in their eyes.

Just needed a quick little laugh. Hope you got one too.

  • They just like to be annoying. Maybe they have nothing better to do, since their "work" isn't all that involved. I also think they do it to collect all those insufficient funds fees because silly us, put money in and then think we can spend it. But NO, we have to wait like 10 days or whatever...and bounce those checks. Grrrr.
