  • You'll want upbeat songs that'll keep you singing and dancing.

    Jason Mraz
    The Beatles
    The Temptations
    Mamma's and The Pappa's
    Manhatten Transfer
    The Four Seasons
    Queen
    Jim Croce
    James Taylor
    Roy Orbison
    Creedence Cleerwater Revival (CCR)

Those are some of my favorites ... And all I can think of.
I find country really great road trip music too. It's easy going, really easy to listen to and sing a long to, and just keeps the mood just right.

    Toby Kieth
    Brad Paisley
    Tim McGraw
    Alabama
    Brooks and Dunn
    Garth Brooks (Especially Garth Brooks)

    Those are all great ones!

  • Another idea is taking along a book on tape. It really does pass the time away. If you son is anything like my kids, he will probably fall asleep. Be sure to stop every couple of hours to eat and stretch so you don't get fatigued. Have a great trip and take plenty of pictures.
