Do you think this is fair?

Do you think it's fair to take a DS,TV/all electronics away from a child for a day for everytime they backtalk to you?

  • i would sy no. i always ggive a warning first but depending on the age i would take them away on the second time it happened

  • I agree with a warning first but I'd take their electronics away for 1 day and next time for 2 days and I'd keep going up after thet until they get the message.

  • We charge them a nickel a smart a$$ comment, have been since they were about 6 & 8. They would get really upset and say "I only have pennies or a dime" uh, count out five or I make change. I have a little jar in the kitchen where the money goes, and 4 yrs later I still don't have enough to buy an ice cream. For some kids the money thing really hits them. Toys are just toys, but money is potential toys or something they might want that they won't be able to afford because they have to give it to mom for something they've said.
