  • If you are you need to take extra care to get plenty of good food for you and your baby. It takes about 3 years for the body to recover all the way and be best to get pregnant again. Expect it to take longer for you to recover after your baby is born and that you may need more help.

I hope everything does go well.

  • My brother and I were both born in Aug. Less than a week apart. I was first. My mom said it was hard but glad when we got a little older because we were close. I think it's neat. I often wonder in I want that for my child or not. But I have been told to wait so my body can recover well.

  • I have 6 children and had children in 1983, 1987 and 1996, no twins. My 1st 2 were born on Jan. 3rd and Nov. 30th, 1983; my 3rd & 4th were born Jan. 18th & Dec. 23rd, 1987 and my last 2 were born Jan. 7th & Dec. 18th, 1996. I planned having them that way.

  • my first two are 10 1/2 months apart. hard at first, but so much easier once they were toddlers and older. Never had to schedule play dates, never had the old "i'm bored". Usually entertained each other. Come to think of it, still do (now 22 and 21)

  • My sister and I are 8 1/2 months apart.

It's tough but it can be done.

  • I have 2 who are 11 months apart, but different years. They have december birthdays. My son is Dec 23 and my daughter is Dec 4th. It wasn't hard for me b/c my dd was born preemie and made things "easier" b/c she just slept all the time. It gets easier as they get older.

  • Yep, my girls are 10 1/2 months apart. The midwives told me it would be harder on my body (in fact I had 3 kiddos in 3 years), but it really wasn't any harder than being pregnant now, and my youngest will be 3 1/2 when thsi baby is born. It was a lot harder for me when I had a newborn and a 10 1/2 month old. I felt like I had twins in the way of having to lug two babies around at the same time etc. It was soooo worth it now though. They get a long fabulously, and are close. I never have to worry about needing to have friends over for them, and they do entertain each other really well.
