  • Yes absolutely. One of the main principals in Christianity is to think of others above yourself, be concerned for the welfare of others, and just all around put others needs above your own. So the fact that you can kill an asthmatic by smoking anything especially in public is a selfish inconsiderate thing to do and therefore very unchristian. Drinking it states clearly in the bible that if you are drunk you're disobeying God. On top of that the high number of drunk drivers, the crimes committed while people are under the influence of alcohol and the fact that breaking down your body that is disrespecting what God gave you are all reasons that those things are unacceptable behavior.

  • No. Its just wrong to smoke weed because its illegal.  Cigarettes are highly addictive, unhealthy and expensive but a personal choice. I choose to drink wine from time to time.

  • Well, I dont believe in hell so no not hell worthy.

Do I think its a sin...no. I dont think its necessarily smart to overdo those things since they do have known side effects but Im not going to judge someone just cuz they smoke or drink.

  • Not at all. In fact, two of those three are actually used on a regular basis in many different religions for many different purposes, they are also widely accepted by many cultures & beliefs. Cigarettes, on the other hand, are not used for any religious purpose but I still do not view them as sinful since tobacco use is also common & accepted in many cultures & beliefs. Those that think any of these things are religiously condemned or hell-worthy just have their panties in a bunch because even I, a non-religious person to begin with, know better, especially after studying different cultures, beliefs, & religions.

  • It is a sin to get high and drunk. Christians should not be doing these things. The Bible repeatedly warns against people who get drunk, party, alter their minds (through drugs or alcohol)--that they will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. That is pretty serious.

It is very unhealthy to smoke cigarettes. It is a harmfull addiction. The Bible doesn't say that it will keep you out of heaven though. You can smoke and be a Christian. But it is better for us to not smoke because it is so bad for us. We need to take care of our bodies so we can better serve the Lord. And we don't want to do things will harm other people if they follow our example. So it is good to quit : )

  • to get drunk would be a sin, weed & other drugs yes because they are illegal.. cigarettes are bad for you ? unsure if a sin.. ALL sin sends you to hell unless you repent.. ask Jesus into you heart, ask for forgiveness & have a change in your life to reflect him.
