  • no you need to buy a convertible carseat. i suggest you look into extended rear facing but if its not for you then. you still ahve to buy a convertible carseat. if money is the problem. cosco scenera is only $55 in some store and $45 in others. also babies r us is having a trade in event if you bring in your old carseat you get 25% off a new carseat

  • If you mean its one of those carrier type things with the handle then no, its not intended to be installed that way.

  • Only if it is a convertible car seat. Most travel system seats are designed to be rear-facing only. Look up the specific model and see if it is a convertible car seat or rear-facing only.

  • most likely not. i do not know of an infant carrier you can face forward. only the convertible car seats go forward and back facing. also it is recommended to keep them back facing as long as possible.

  • You cannot turn an infant carseat forward facing. They weren't built to be forward facing and it isn't safe for your child to ride in an infant carseat like that.

  • Our car seat base will only latch to the car rear-facing. It also has a warning on it that states it is only to be used rear-facing.

  • No the carrier seats that can snap into a base and then into a stroller, those are rear facing only.

  • Most likely no. If your child is big enough to front face, he/she is probably too big to be in that travel system seat anyway. Read your manual to be absolutely sure, but most bases wont latch properly if front facing. I believe in rear facing as long as possible but if you're set on front facing, it would be best to inveset in a good seat designed for that purpose.
