  • Well, when I was confirmed some 30-ish years ago, we had a party at our house afterward with family & very close friends. Nothing super fancy, but definitely cake and punch. One of my kids will be confirmed next year, and we will probably have a similar party, not really fancy, but family-friendly.

  • we just went out to dinner, which was a big deal when we were kids. we got to pick a special friend or two from the same class and both families went to dinner together.

  • Our Church usually has a reception after, because it's during the week. The Bishop stays and we all get to talk with him. It's really a great time.

  • My Daughter will be confirmed this Fall! They will have cake and punch afterwards and the kids will have a chance to talk with the Bishop and have their picture taken with him. We are planning a party at our house for Family & Friends to celebrate with us.
