when do they consider contraction labor and not just BH.

i have been having contractions that are coming about every 45 min, and lasting about 45 sec. i know i dont need to go to the hospital till they are atleast 60-90 sec long and are like 4 min apart, but i was just wondering if this is early labor or is it still considered BH. thanks ladies

  • When you drink some water and lay down, do they stop? If so, BH

If they keep going and getting longer and worse...real ones.

  • True contractions will be predictable, regular and nothing will stop them.

  • Cervical change is the distinction between true labor and BH contractions. I think the fact that they are only once an hour indicates it is likely BH contractions.
