nap question............

I have been trying to help my son have better sleep. I put him down for a nap earlier and after a long tantrum he finally fell asleep at 1:00. Its now 3:00 and I am wondering if I should wake him up so he will feel tired at his new bedtime (800 pm.) He is 20 months.

  • I wake mine if she is sleeping until 4 she goes to bed at 7 and wakes up at 9 am. Just tweak the time until you get it right.

  • Let him sleep... then put him to bed at his normal bed time.

  • my pediatrician said to only let my son who is 24months to take one nap that is an hour and a half long AT MOST. Get him up around nine or ten in the morning and put him to bed around nine or ten at night. So....I think you should wake him up.

  • I don't let my 2 year old sleep past 230 or 3. She just turned 2 on the 11th. She wakes up between 730 and 8am her nap is usually about 11 or 12 I try to shoot for more 11ish though maybe 1130 and if she isn't up by 230 comes no later than 3 I wake her cause if I let her sleep past 3 she will not go to bed at 8 so I would wake him. But that is me
