What would you do?

A friend of ours from our church is currently homeless so every once in awhile she spends a night with us. She has always been really extreme with our religion and is always telling us how we should live. For example, last time she was here after the Sabbath was over my husband got on the computer and started to watch his wrestling show (WWE) She told us that by watching that he was inviting demons into our home and they were torturing our son. He had some gas trapped in his tummy at the time so he was screaming and I was trying to get him to burp.

  • I would sit her down with with your hubby there & set some house rules & tell her if he cannot listen to the rule she must leave.. she is being very judgmental which against the bible.. also have him help out with cooking, other chores to earn her keep at your home.. if that doesn't work talk to your pastor maybe she can talk with her.. in the end if she can't respect you & your home she must leave

  • Ask her kindly to keep her opinions to herself while residing in your home. You are doing her a favor after all.

  • Thanks for your opinion but this is our house and if you don't like what we do in our home then don't stay here.

  • Also remind her of the verse where it talks about you removing a speck from your brothers eye but not paying attention to the plank in your own eye.
