• break it out to (1+4m) (1+4m) = (1*1)+(1*4m) + (4m*1) +(4m*4m)=1+4m+4m+16m^2=1+8m+16m^2

according to my math whiz hubby.

• 1+8m+16M^2 is right. incase you do not know foil is first, inside, outside, last, add them together and that is your answer.
