Need ideas on finger foods snacks to feed my child.

Okay my child has 6 teeth and i love to give him snacks between meals, so far i give cheese puffs, apples, gold fish crackers, cheerios and he loves to chew on carrots and celery. He hates those puff things, and the yogurt bites any other ideas of what i can feed to him would be helpful i'm racking my brain here.

  • cheerios and Puffs. pretzels, carrots, greenbeans, anything thats long and skinny that they can hold and not choke. i know its a no no for most but my DD LOVES popcorn!

  • My son LOVES fresh fruit!!! I cut grapes in half, quarter strawberries depending on their size, berries, sliced banana, thinly sliced apple.

  • Since your son loves cheese puffs, I recommend the Gerber Graduates lil' crunchies, (I realize your son may be older, but ) these are like cheese puffs, and they even come in cheese flavor, they also have veggie dip, and my daughters favorite, maple cinnamon(or something like that). After she eats them, she always smells like pancake syrup. These are healthy and nutritious and he will hopefully like them. You can also add the toddler meat sticks, they are MUCH healthier than the ones they make for big people. Good Luck! and let us know how it turns out please, if you want...

  • I'd be careful with the carrots-- he could bite off a chunk with those front teeth that he couldn't chew without molars and good chewing skills... they are a choking hazard. Apples, too. Try really ripe pears instead of apples, bananas. cheese sticks, toast strips with cream cheese.
