  • Hylands teething tablets come highly recommended. I found they didn't work for my daughter. Biting my finger seemed to be the best relief lol.

  • The teething tablets are homeopathic and you can get them at Walmart or anywhere. They did help my son. And yes, Oragel sometimes burns more than helps.

  • My daughter got something at a Nutrition Center that was a liquid and had a dropper with it. It works really well, almost instantly. If you have one of those places in your area, the people who work there are very knowledgable and will be able to recommend something to you.

  • Hyland's teething tabs! They're great!! And you can even administer it along with Tylenol or Motrin IB, and it won't hurt anything, because Hyland's is homeopathic. I love Hyland's so much! They make an entire line of tablets, I also like to use the one for Colds and Sneezes.

  • Dampen a wash cloth just a little bit. Then put it in the freeze for a little bit. Not until it is solid. You want it to be pliable. Let baby gnaw away on it.

  • My daughter hasn't started teething yet, but I have a baltic amber teething necklace (not to be chewed) and have heard good things about them from moms that have used them.
