My 8 month old eats solids 3 times a day and nurses in between...does she need water?

Now that she's nursing less?

  • no, she doesn't need it, but it's a great thing to put in a sippy cup for practice if you aren't pumping

  • nine or ten months is a good age to introduce a sippy cup with water. Not a lot, just a couple of ounces a day.

  • She should be nursing before each solids meal. No water needed.
