Scott Roeder convicted... (Christian opinions and pov on forgiveness and penance please)

I do not agree with what he did at all. I am against killing babies just as I against killing humans.

He is doing his time, and I agree with this conviction, but what does this do as far and penance? He does the time and pays for his crime but never believes he is wrong. Does God forgive him? I am not sorry this Tiller can't do abortions anymore, but I am sorry his life was taken. That doesn't seem to be the way to handle any situation, how does doing a wrong to stop a wrong register in God's eyes?

  • If you are not sorry, then you aren't repentant. He will serve his secular time and have to answer to God seperately.
