he hits things when he gets mad

it seems like my son gets frustrated easily. and even the smallest things frustrate him, for example.. if he trips over a toy and falls down, he hits the toy and grinds his teeth. if he can't get a toy out of his toy box he hits his toys. if he just simply slips and falls, he'll hit the floor and scream "bad floor!" and grind his teeth. why do you think he does this? should i be worried?

  • Have you tried asking him why he is angry after something like this happens? How else can a child that age react to being upset or frustrated?
