  • they would have maybe been aborted? idk that is what i got out of it.

my mom had two abortions before she had me, she was raised a catholic and my grandmother told her she would be kicked out if she didn't have the abortions. finally she moved out and had me though. so i kind of get what they're saying, i could have easily been aborted and not been here today.

  • I wouldnt be here if my mom decided to abort me when she was pregnant, but not because she is pro-choice. I'm a pro-lifer myself, but I agree, this statement doesn't make much sense.

  • it means, if your mom didnt want you, and she believed in abortion- then you wouldnt exist.

  • pro choice means abortion, or letting the woman choose to have or not to have the child. Had YOUR mom picked abortion, obviously..you wouldn't be here. Get it?

  • Being pro-choice does NOT mean being "pro-abortion", or that the person herself had or would have one.... So no, it doesn't make any sense at all.

  • Maybe it should say "You might not be here if your mom was pro-choice". I think it makes sense. Yourmom took a chance with your life.

  • Just because someone is pro-choice (me for example) doesn't mean that always have abortions. I've never had one and have three kids and am prochoice. So I think this is just something people say when they have no better retort.
