Anyone know any way to stop my 10 month old from grinding his teeth?

How can I get my son to stop grinding his teeth? It is making me crazy...

  • All 3 of my kiddos went through a stage where they liked to do that. They just liked the noise it made, it was something new to them KWIM. If I reacted to it they thought it was funny and would do it more, so I tried to ignore it (hard when you HATE that sound). I would distract them with a game or song that used their hands or a favorite toy or if it was close to time to a meal time something to eat or drink. They all stopped after a short time. Good luck!

  • my pediatrician told me to just ignore my son and he would stop. after a few weeks, he did, just like that! I was worried he would damage his teeth, plus it was really annoying!!
