Potty training?

My DS's Newest thing is in the morning we get him and he points at his diaper and says "ET!!!" "Et momma" "ET" and Pokes it!!! LOL!!! And does it anytime his diaper gets to wet... Does that mean its time to start showing him what a potty chair is?? He's 16 months old.

  • yeah you can start, especially if he's walking. i wouldn't push it, just kinda introduce him to it and if he want to sit on it from time to time, let him.

  • I would personally try... just get the seat/potty chair and see how often he sits on it! He might be an early potty trainer! Don't push it, just offer! Sounds like he's got a few of the potty training signs.... I personally go to the Parents.com website for this.

  • Absolutely. Mine is 16 months and she goes to the potty every morning. She'll bang on the bathoom door sayng "poop" if she has to, but loses interest in it about noon. It's a start though, and it's never too young to show them.
