Is it okay to let my 3 month old sleep through the night without feeding him?

How do you know if your infant is getting enough milk?

  • If baby is able to go through the night without wanting a feeding go for it!!! You will know your LO is getting enough by the diaper count.

  • I would say that if the baby is sleeping through the night then he/she should be fine. My kids slept through the night at 3 months and I didn't wake them up, and they are fine!!!! How much is the baby eating and sleeping through the day?

  • Yes that is perfectly fine. My 3 girls slept through the night by 3 months...
My son was born over 9 lbs and slept from 10 pm til 6 am from the day one.
It really has to do with size and if your baby was hungry he's going to let you know, lol

  • Let sleeping babies lie....

You are very lucky; and don't be surprised if this is temporary.

  • My DD has been sleeping through the night sine before she was 6 weeks old. It has nothing to do with size and everything to do with the child. Mine was born under 6 lbs. She is 19 mos and sleeps through the night still. If your LO is hungry they will let you know. Let your child get the rest that s/he needs.
