how do i get barf smell out of a mattress?

My 16 month old vomited on every single bed and sofa in my house, and sh feels much better now. How do I get it out of my mattresses?

  • Baking soda may help get rid of the stench. Let it sit for a while.

  • An enzyme cleaner. Nature's Miracle is a pet odor remover made with enzymes. It gets out all vomit- human and animal. Use cool water, never hot. You can buy it at Petsmart. It will not remove color from your sofa.

  • I second the Nature's Miracle it is in a white bottle with red letters. We actually used it as much for the boys' messes as we did for the dog.
