  • My midwife reccommended making tea out of fennel seeds (yes, the cooking herb). The ratio is about 1 teaspoon fennel seeds in a tea ball to 1 cup (8 oz) hot water. It should be a light to medium amber color. It can be a little bitter, so you might need to put a tiny pinch of sugar in it. Start with 2 oz, then if that hasn't worked after a few hours, try 3 oz, then after another few hours try 4 oz, and so on. You just have to find what amount works for your baby.
It worked really well for my DD. Good luck! :)

  • warm water sounds right. i don't know if it's okay to be giving a 2mo juice yet. their tummies are still so delicate. my mom used to tell me to rub chamomille oil on their tummies.

  • I thank you all for your answers, and appreciate them very much! She has recently had a bowel movement on her own so Im hoping things are getting better for her. I have reasons for switching, and yes i have spoken with a doctor. I have dried up and cannot produce milk . I done it longer this time than I did with my first. So I am not producing, and yes I wish I was i feel closer to my baby.
